A very heavy-duty seamless wall molded with vertical sides. Vertical parallel sides offer less resistance to expanding ice than constricting shapes. This allows the rain barrel to be freeze-tolerant with the assistance of the removable lid. Please visit our warranty for details.
The material of construction is food-grade Polyethylene; available in (32) Solid or Speckled Colors as well as the very popular Sandstone. This resin has molded-in UV protection and is 100% recyclable.
Sizes of 55, 100, 200, and 360 gallons are available; all with removable tops in Polka Dot, Pie, or 17” Stainless Steel Strainer styles. These will accommodate roofs in either flat or pitched design.
We offer (2) Valves on our Agua Fria Series. One is a Butterfly-style Drain Valve where you would attach a garden hose and the other is a gate-style valve that allows easy filling of a watering can for indoor plants. Both are high quality industrial Brass.
The removable top allows us to hide a large internal overflow that exits the barrel at the side bottom. The tops are secured with quality 3-arm knobs that screw into hidden molded-in metal inserts.
All valves are threaded into the barrel via welded-in fittings that are replaceable. There are no gaskets.
A large welded-in fitting is also included on the top side to allow “linking” one rain barrel to another.
The placement of ALL welded fittings can be user defined at no added charge.
Safety is critical. “Safe” to us means that your rain catcher should provide reasonable measures against intrusion by children, animals, and even mosquitos. Concerning any intrusion, barrels must be well designed.
The Agua Fria Series are protected by a limited 3-year warranty.
